Man City are hoping to orchestrate a swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo as talks continue with Juventus.
Multiple reports claim that the 36-year-old has agreed personal terms with City as the former Real Madrid star looks to make his return to the Premier League, this time with the blue side of Manchester.
Juventus are willing to part ways with Ronaldo and want around £28million for the forward who has a year left on his contract.
City are expected to lodge a formal bid on Friday, but they are potentially going to look down the avenue of a swap deal.
Pep Guardiola's men have repeatedly offered players as a part exchange during transfer discussions this summer, including their summer-long negotiations for Harry Kane.

According to The Athletic, Sterling was one of five players offered to Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, as well as Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez.
Levy wasn't interested in a swap deal and demanded cash only for Kane as the striker would eventually announce that he was staying put this summer.
City have swiftly moved onto Ronaldo as it became apparent that he was available as Guardiola looked to replace Sergio Aguero who left the club this summer and joined Barcelona as a free agent.
But it's a similar situation with the Manchester United hero as City look to engineer a swap deal and it's safe to assume Sterling will be a part of those negotiations.
